February 20, 1955 - February 16, 2017
Timothy Patrick O’Donnell, 61, Edgewater, passed away on February 16, 2017, after a short illness. He was born on February 20, 1955 in Binghamton, NY to Robert and Ann McNamara O’Donnell, who predeceased him. Tim was a commercial painter and owner of O’Donnell Painting. He later worked at the Fishin Cove Marina in New Smyrna Beach. While attending school in Binghamton, Tim enjoyed competing in pole vaulting, football and wrestling. He also enjoyed fishing, racing, billiards, golf, hunting, especially for the elusive “white turkey”, but Tim’s favorite past time was chatting with friends and family on the phone. Tim is survived by his wife, Colleen Bresnahan O’Donnell; daughter, Nancy O’Donnell; sisters, Patricia Mason, Maureen Simmons and Colleen (Leon) Brown; his in-laws, Tom Bresnahan and Barbara and Bob Lovelace and many nieces and nephews. Tim never met a stranger and will be deeply missed by us all. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette St., Port Orange, FL with a reception immediately following. Donations can be made to an animal charity of choice.
