Annette P. Rose
July 30, 1963 - March 30, 2017

 

           

Annette P. Rose, 53, Edgewater, died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Halifax Health Hospice Care Center, Edgewater.  Annette was born July 30, 1963 in Daytona Beach and had been a lifelong area resident and a 1981 graduate of Spruce Creek High School, Port Orange.  She was a bookkeeper at Spruce Creek Cabinetry, Port Orange and enjoyed scalloping in Steinhatchee, FL and sailing the Caribbean on the family boat. “Annie’s Toy”.  While bravely fighting her own battle against cancer, she became a true friend and advocate for other cancer patients as well.   Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Kenneth G.; her mother, Pearl Baker of Port Orange; three step daughters, Gina Rose of Nashville, TN, and Stacy Dion and Terry (Dennis) Johnson, both of Seekonk, MA; one brother, John (Nancy) Baker of Keystone Heights; one sister, Janice (Steve) Mills of Port Orange; eighteen nieces and nephews; four step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father, Arza Baker.  A memorial gathering of family and friends will be from 11 AM until 1 PM Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Tiano’s Restaurant, 1000 Wayne Avenue, New Smyrna Beach with a service at 12 Noon officiated by Chaplain Devon Jones, Halifax Health Hospice. Cremation will be by Dudley Crematory, New Smyrna Beach.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to MeStrong, P. O.
