Paul F. Weinfurtner
October 26, 1936 - January 1, 2017

 

           

Paul F. Weinfurtner, 80, Edgewater, died Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the Halifax Health Hospice Care Center, Edgewater.  Mr. Weinfurtner was a pulp pump operator for Mosinee Paper Mill, Mosinee, Wisconsin before his retirement and served in the U. S. Army.  He was also a bakery manager in the central Wisconsin area and for a few years he was a lumberjack.  He was a member of St. Gerard Mission Church, Edgewater and the veterans group at Hacienda del Rio.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time outdoors. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Sherry D.; two sons, Mark (Darla) Weinfurtner of Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Corey (Dawn) Weinfurtner of Richmond, Illinois; four daughters, Laura McAdam of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Lisa Lutz of Indianapolis, Indiana, Corrine Dunar of Oak Creek, Wisconsin and Michelle (Todd Sigfrid) Williams of Big Lake, Minnesota; three sisters, Geraldine (Jesse) Hackett of Minnesota, Kathleen (Gary) Loos of Arizona and Connie (Sam) Wesenberg of Wisconsin; one sister in-law, Marrianne Weinfurtner of Wisconsin; nine grandchildren, Jared, Jordan, Owen and Erynn Weinfurtner, Jesse McAdam, Derek Lutz, Tyler and Austin Williams and Micaela Sigfrid and five great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Marjorie Meddaugh Weinfurtner; two brothers, Ronald and Larry Weinfurtner and a granddaughter, Crystal Lutz. Visitation will be from 6PM until 8PM Tuesday, January 3, 2017 with a Wake service at 7:30 PM at Dudley Edgewater Funeral Chapel, 433 N. Ridgewood Avenue, Edgewater.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 9 AM Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at St. Gerard Mission Church, 3171 S. Ridgewood Avenue, Edgewater with Rev. Thomas Burke, C.Ss.R. Pastor, as the celebrant.  Cremation will be by Dudley Crematory, New Smyrna Beach.  Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o St. Gerard Mission Church, 3171 S. Ridgewood Avenue, Edgewater, FL  32141.
